AI has the potential to transform healthcare, but its impact is often difficult to predict. What happens when an algorithm works well, or when it doesn't? How will it change work, collaboration and the patient experience?
Getting started with AI in my work – Danny Jonker (Fontys)
In this breakout session, we will explore how you can start using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot right away. We will demonstrate the potential of these tools in your daily work and explain how to use them safely and effectively, adapting them to the needs and preferences of various roles within healthcare. Based on our basic Copilot workshop and train-the-trainer programme, this session will enable you to not only get started with AI yourself, but also help your colleagues.
'Developing AI skills in healthcare practice' — Joep Elemans (STZ) and Roeline de Beaufort (Haga Hospital).
In this breakout session, we will share our joint journey towards providing effective and appropriate AI training for all our hospital employees. Together, we will explore how best to prepare employees to work with AI, with training tailored to the diverse needs of different target groups and the current requirements of European AI legislation. We will share our approach, insights and initial practical experiences with the aim of minimising administrative burdens and maximising the potential of AI within our healthcare organisations.
'Data as the foundation for AI' – Jildau Bouwman (TNO)
Would you like to know how your region can make effective use of AI and data in healthcare? In this breakout session, you will learn how to collaborate effectively and discover what it takes for organisations in the region to share and utilise data. You will be introduced to the HERACLES project, which aims to facilitate data reuse in the region. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, you will learn how to get started and what you need to arrange as an organisation, such as agreements on access, quality and use, to enable regional collaboration and prepare for the EHDS.
