On Monday, September 15, technology journalist Daniël Verlaan of RTL Nieuws will appear on the Open Stage at MindLabs in Tilburg. Verlaan is known for his incisive stories about the dark side of technology, including hackers, phishing, data leaks, and the dark web. In 2019, his work on cybercrime won the Tegel, the most prestigious journalism award in the Netherlands.

Verlaan will discuss his journalistic process, including how he finds stories and the methods he uses, without revealing any details, of course. All of his work revolves around technology and investigative journalism.

The meeting is primarily intended for Fontys journalism and ICT students (no registration required). MindLabs is also making a limited number of spots available.
