In six multidisciplinary teams, students work on interactive prototypes that you can use via your smartphone. Each team will have its own client, including BrabantKennis, VPRO Frontlinie, and Beeld & Geluid, and together with them develop an innovative immersive storytelling form for foreign stories.
The first day is devoted to concept development and the first prototype versions. Tomorrow these will be tested on the target audience and presented during the open demos. The winning concept will be further developed as an NPO innovation project.During this hackathon, we will investigate how immersive storytelling forms such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and game techniques can be used for foreign journalism. How do you bring complex geopolitical stories so close that audiences can understand and experience them.
