Kick-Off GEN-T Talentprogramme

06 March 2026 Project in the spotlights

Friday, 6 March saw the festive kick-off of the Gen-T talent programme. During an inspiring afternoon, the partners involved, together with the councillor, the participating companies and the selected talents, officially launched this new programme.

Councillor Bas van der Pol proudly presented the launch of Gen-T, emphasising the importance of developing and retaining young talent in the region. According to him, the programme plays an important role in strengthening the regional labour market and offering perspective to young professionals.

A special moment during the meeting was the unveiling of the Gen-T logo. With this introduction, the programme also gained a recognisable visual identity, in line with its ambition to build a strong network of talent and organisations.

The first group of participants also started their programme earlier that day. The selected talents will begin a 18-month programme in which they will work on their personal and professional development, under the guidance of experts and in collaboration with regional companies.

With this first group, Gen-T has officially started. Over the next year and a half, the participants will work together to build their skills, network and future in the region. We look forward to the journey these talents will take together.
