Our 2025 annual plan focuses on strengthening cooperation within the field labs and knowledge teams. A key development is the launch of the ELSA knowledge team, which will focus on the ethical, legal and social implications of technology and AI in society. To bring innovative ideas to life through design-based research, we also aim to connect development partners to our ecosystem. Finally, we are investigating a sustainable funding model to secure the future of our ecosystem.
2024 was a year of growth, collaboration, and visibility as you can read in our annual report 2024 (in Dutch). We strengthened our ecosystem with new partners and projects, launched the Futures Lab, and showcased our human-centred AI and technology through the Virtual Humans Regio Deal project – from Dutch Design Week to national media. Our role as a driver of innovation in Tilburg’s Spoorzone was further reinforced through new collaborations with government, industry, and knowledge institutions. With numerous events, ideation sessions, and successful funding applications, we worked alongside our partners to develop solutions for societal challenges.
