NERVE Symposium

How can we measure physiological signals like heart rate, electrodermal activity and facial temperature without physical sensors? During the NERVE Symposium at MindLabs on friday the 25th of september, researchers and students come together to explore the latest developments in non-invasive physiological signal measurement using video and audio data.

The afternoon starts with an introduction to the NERVE project, where consortium members share insights into the research, goals and outcomes of this DSFS-funded Growth project. A series of guest speakers will then dive into innovative methods for extracting and analysing physiological signals, with applications ranging from motion sickness prediction to team dynamics.

The symposium brings together academics, students and professionals interested in AI, human behaviour, health technology and signal analysis.
