To get straight to the point: what is the core business of IVY works?
By using smart software we help organizations to put the right talent in the right place. Candidates and employees play our game-based assessments, which allow us to objectively visualize the talent of people. With data analytics and AI, we can then predict where the talent will be best suited. Using our smart software, we select the best candidates, ensure optimally functioning teams and draw up strategic personnel plans.
What is your dot on the horizon?
We want everyone in the Netherlands to get to know his or her talents and in that way enjoy what they do. Because far too many people on the workfloor at the moment don't feel good about themselves. Looking more objectively and honestly at what employees can do also helps organizations become more effective and efficient.
Out of ambition? Idealism? Or passion?
I myself am driven mainly by my personal conviction. Prejudice, discrimination, people with a distance to the labor market who do not get a fair chance; I want to change that. People are sometimes wary of AI and new technologies. But AI actually makes the whole recruitment process much fairer and more people-oriented. Because subjectivity no longer plays a role.
How are you connected to MindLabs?
We are junior partners of MindLabs. It gives us access to knowledge in the field of technology in an easily accessible way. And it gives us an incredibly interesting network.
And how long have you been in the family?
Since the end of August 2020; so less than six months. We are already setting up the first collaborations. For example, we are already working with Flow Concepts from Jef van den Hout.
What is the holy grail in the cooperation with MindLabs as far as you are concerned?
Working together on the future and shaping it, because an initiative like MindLabs can give the economy in a region an enormous boost. We expect to be able to make an important contribution to the 'future of work'. What skills do people need as work digitizes and changes. It is also interesting for us to contribute to MindLabs research and projects. By committing ourselves to this, we become an increasingly interesting cooperation partner for parties.
And what does it bring you in the meantime?
Community. Meetings with other people. The MindLabs reach is huge and large companies are also connected. That is interesting now and in the future.
